1942 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 9 ന് നടന്നു.
ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാരിൽ നിന്നും ഇന്ത്യയെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ലക്ഷ്യം
ക്വിറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യ (ഇന്ത്യ വിടുക ) എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യം സമരത്തിന് ആവേശം പകർന്നു.
പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മരിക്കുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു ക്വിറ്റ് ഇന്ത്യാ സമരത്തിൽ ഗാന്ധിജിയുടെ ആഹ്വാനം
1947 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 15 ന് ഇന്ത്യ സ്വതന്ത്രയായി.
